Open to all 9th – 12th grader, we offer opportunities to grow spiritually, serve their community and socialize with their peers. We offer High School Youth Ministry Nights most Sundays after the 5:30 pm Mass, Bible Study, Socials (Movie Nights, Open-Gym, Field Trips), Field Trips and Camps.
The Sharing Center operates thrift shops in Longwood and Sanford, a food pantry, and assists people with needs of all kinds. They are a community partner that we support with our Charitable Outreach and through many parishioner volunteer hours.
We are a ministry of prayer, education, formation and collaboration. We celebrate and value the dignity of the human person in both actions of outreach and in the simplicity of daily interactions and encounters while appreciating the gift of all of God’s creations.
Sign-up for our next project in Apopka. Habitat for Humanity is an international organization that builds homes for those in need. No experience is necessary but volunteers must be 16 years of age.
Ushers create a welcoming, friendly, and well-ordered environment at Mass. Christian hospitality draws people together, opens them to participation, and sets the tone for the liturgy.
A Reader is a member of the Church community who helps make God’s presence known to the community through proclaiming God’s Word at liturgical celebrations.
An Altar Server assists the priest during the Mass and at other religious ceremonies so that it can be celebrated with grace and reverence.
