Join us Thanksgiving Day, November 28th at 10am for Mass.

Please note: no 7am or 12:15pm Daily Mass

Anointing of the Sick will be available at our Thanksgiving Day Mass.

“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the presbyters of the Church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” (Jas 5:14)

CCC 1499 “By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them.”

In the Church’s Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, throughthe ministry of the priest, it is Jesus who touches the sick to heal them from sin – and sometimes even from physical ailment. His cures were signs of the arrival of the Kingdom of God. The core message of his healing tells us of his plan to conquer sin and death by his dying and rising. ~ from the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults
