Dear Friends in Christ,

As we celebrate the Most Holy Trinity this Sunday, we are called to reflect upon the relationship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit… a relationship of great love and of great mystery.  God invites us to participate in this relationship through the manner in which we live as disciples each day by loving God and others.  The theological truth of three persons in one God is an incredible mystery that is beyond our comprehension, and calls us to have deeper respect for the sacred and the incredible presence of God in our lives.

Last weekend, we celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with 18 adults of our Parish family.  Some also received the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time and were received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church.  We are all evangelizers who can invite others into the traditions of our faith.  Thank you for sharing the Good News and for helping to provide a welcome atmosphere on our parish campus and beyond.

Click here for a biography and video for Father Benjamin Lehnertz who has been assigned as Parochial Vicar to Annunciation Catholic Church.  I look forward to his first weekend with us in mid-June.  I am sure that he is grateful for your prayers as he transitions into Priestly Ministry.

When you come before the Lord this week, please whisper my name (and the names of the other Priests and Sisters of our community) .  Pray that we can be the servants that you need and deserve.  Know that we will pray for you, your loved ones and your intentions.  We may not see each other each day but may we meet each day in our prayers!

In Christ,

Very Rev. Stephen D. Parkes, V.F.
Pastor
