Dear Friends in Christ,
I would like to thank all who planned, prayed for and participated in our Fall Festival. It was truly a beautiful weekend in so many ways…. the fellowship, the welcoming hospitality and of course the weather! I am especially grateful for the generosity and sharing spirit that was present. As faithful stewards we are called to share our time, talent and treasure. The Fall Festival is an invitation to truly embrace Stewardship As A Way of Life as we journey together as disciples. When all of the expenses are calculated I will be able to inform you of our net proceeds and then we will be able to make distributions to the local charities in the near future. Thank you for your patience!
I am especially excited about our upcoming Heart of Faith Discipleship Weekend. There will be various opportunities to grow in faith that weekend as we fully embrace being witnesses of hope. More information about the events are included in this bulletin. I hope that you will consider inviting a friend as we celebrate the conclusion of the Year of Faith.
When you come before the Lord this week, please whisper my name (and the names of the Priests and Religious Sisters who staff our parish) to the Almighty. Pray that we can be the servants that God has called us to be. Know that we will remember you, your intentions and your loved ones in our prayers. We may not see one another each day but may we meet each day in our prayers!
