Dear Friends in Christ,
Over the past few weeks the news has included very sad stories regarding the dark history of abuse cases within the Catholic Church in our country. Not only is it difficult to comprehend the sinful actions that occurred but also the manner in which these cases were handled.
Below is a Message from Bishop Noonan regarding the recent news reports. Over the past twenty years our Diocese of Orlando has worked hard to put into place procedures and precautions with our Safe Environment programs and other means. Thank you for your dedication to carrying out these guidelines. I am also grateful to Bishop Noonan for his leadership and diligence in communicating with us at this critical time.
