Dear Friends in Christ,

Thank you to all who have planned and are participating in the 2017 Fall Festival!  I am grateful to our Leadership Team for their countless hours of preparation and guidance and to all who help in any way to ensure the success of this year’s Fall Festival.

Last weekend, I spoke during the announcement time about Monsignor Caverly’s burial in Ireland.  I was pleased to be able to carry the thoughts, love and prayers of our parish community as Monsignor was laid to rest in Skibbereen in County Cork.  I have included some photos from the church where his funeral was held and also of the cemetery where he was laid to rest. There are two additional photos of the beautiful surrounding area in West Cork, Ireland.  I know that the Caverly family is grateful for your thoughts and prayers, and of course we continue to pray for Monsignor as he journeys to the Kingdom of Heaven.

When I come before the Lord this week, I will especially remember you, your loved ones and your intentions.  I am most grateful if you would please whisper my name to the Almighty.  We may not see each other every day but may we meet each day in our prayers.

In Christ,
Very Rev. Stephen D. Parkes, V.F.
Pastor
