Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
These parishioners have the special responsibility of assisting the priests as they distribute Holy Communion during Mass.
Members are appointed by the Pastor. Interested parishioners should contact Mary Ann Fox for more information and forward a letter expressing their interest in serving in this ministry to Father Stephen Parkes via mail or email. Training consists of 3 hours of Diocesan instruction (one Saturday morning), a Parish orientation session, and Safe Environment Testing. Continuing education consists of participation in a 3 hour morning of reflection lead by the Diocese and is required on a biannual basis.
