Dear Friends in Christ:

As we enter into the summer months I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support of Annunciation Catholic Church.  At this time of year, I look back with joy over the busy months since Lent and Easter and look ahead with hope in planning for the fall when many of our activities and ministries begin anew.  I pray that you and your loved ones are able to enjoy some peaceful and unscheduled time together during this summer.  Remember to set aside some prayerful moments with the Lord as there is never a vacation from God.  If you are traveling in the upcoming weeks, I hope that you have a safe and relaxing journey.  To locate the nearest parish at your destination, visit www.masstimes.org.  When you are in town, I look forward to seeing you at our Eucharistic celebrations.

In your recent envelope mailing for July you may have noticed the Stewardship of Facilities envelope (see image below) which I mentioned earlier this year in January when I spoke at our Masses regarding finances and the re-institution of a weekly second collection.  We are blessed with excellent (but aging) facilities, and as good stewards we need to continually ‘care for and cultivate’ (Genesis 2:15) our capital resources.  This collection will provide the financial resources necessary to fund major replacements and improvements to our buildings and grounds. Your contributions to Stewardship of Facilities are separate from and in addition to the regular offertory which covers our general operating expenses.  Thank you for your attention and generosity to our upcoming Stewardship of Facilities weekly second collection.  We will update you in the bulletin on future projects as they occur.

If you have any questions about the Stewardship of Facilities weekly second collection, please do not hesitate to ask.  When you come before the Lord, please whisper my name to the Almighty.  Know that I will pray for you, your loved ones and your intentions.  May we meet each day in our prayers!

In Christ,Stewardship of Facilities Envelope3
